Meet the Trinity Sisters!

Back in 2010, most of us went on a trip to Ireland where we all got our Trinity tattoos....and became the Trinity Sisters.  In 2015, me, Cindy, Samantha, and Jess went to Ireland again and Jess got her Trinity tattoo so she could become a Trinity Sister too.  So here we all are....Trinity Sisters....getting ready to go on another adventure.  This time to Scotland-where we have traced our roots back to William Wallace.

WAITING

Waiting... that's what Nan posted in her draft for the blog... I am waiting!

So we all are waiting - our phones set with vacation timers, all set to go off for our escape to Scotland. I can only imagine each of us, unable to sleep, waiting for that final signal that it's over.

Why an escape? We all need the time away from life, responsibility, family. Not saying we don't love and appreciate that stuff, but hey! We are going to SCOTLAND. It deserves capital letters. One of our dream places, fantasy filled, nature infused with history and best of all - family connected journeys.

We've got blood here. Perhaps a long distance in time, but we are a wee bit Scottish and now have places to go where our ancestors slept and loved. How exciting is that?

Escape yes, from family, husbands, kids.... for how can you enjoy your fantasy trip that involves handsome red-haired men in kilts, with hubby at your side rolling his eyes. We get to laugh and grin all without judgement of family who don't appreciate the enjoyment we will have.

So we wait, fingers tapping rhythms of scottish pipes, for a day not too far away, when we'll set foot once more on a fantastic journey, a slumber party of sorts, days long, and posted here for any interested to enjoy.
